The Faith with Pride group is holding a Pancake supper for our the 2SLGBTQIA+ community at Bill’s Place. Pancake suppers are traditionally served on Shrove Tuesday, also known as Mardi Gras (which means Fat Tuesday.)
After the supper there will be a brief presentation on the tradition of Shrove Tuesday, and a ceremony of extinguishing candles in preparation for the season of Lent.
Participation is voluntary and open to people of all faiths, or those who don’t have a faith tradition.
